Two-Day Pottery Workshop with Tortus (Eric Landon) WORKSHOP #2: November 7 & 8, 2026 Join renowned potter Eric Landon for an immersive two-day pottery workshop at Common Ground Pottery Studio. This workshop is designed for both beginners and experienced potters looking to refine their skills and explore new techniques in a collaborative and creative environment. This two-day workshop is intended for those who already have experience at the wheel and would like to further fine tune their skills.  The mornings will consist of demos by Eric sharing his techniques and approach to the wheel - focused on specific postures and movement to make throwing more natural and intuitive. Under the guidance of Eric, you will be practicing these techniques to further enhance your pottery skills. One bag of clay will be provided. Additional bags can be purchased. Your pieces will not be fired or glazed, but you are welcome to take your pieces with you at the end of the workshop. Duration: The workshop will run daily from 9:30AM - 4:00PM, with an hour lunch break. Many restaurants are within walking distance. Additional Information: Participants are encouraged to bring their own tools if they have them. This workshop promises to be a rewarding experience, fostering creativity and community among pottery enthusiasts. To ensure plenty of one-on-one time, space is limited to 15 participants, so early registration is recommended to secure your spot in this unique opportunity to learn from Eric.
